If there was anyone scared or nervous about Eighth grade, it was me. Hi, I am Lucy Danderbee. Yeah, I know 'what a weird last name . . .'. I guess being in eighth grade scared me more than it should have. I mean, I always thought that eighth graders were the cool, older ones.. Kind of how a Freshie would look at a senior. The question that always floated around in 7th grade was, 'why are all the cute boys in eighth grade?". Well, being in eighth grade now . . . I have a new opinion.

Shiloh Lakeview: she's your classic shy girl, always picked last in gym class, only has one friend. Madison Riggs: your usual popular girl, group of almost 10 girls as friends, Captain of South Shore Middle School's cheer team, everyone knows her. Lucas Thornridge: just a regular kid trying to make it through middle school, has a few friends, class clown. Daniel Myers: your usual emo kid, friendless, in the top three when it comes to smartest students. What happens when these four very different teens all happen to go to the same place at the same time on the night of their eighth grade farewell dance? When I woke up on the second of January, I thought it would be just another long day of school, but I never made it to school that day. At least that's what they tell me. They also call me a hero. The problem is, I can't remember any of it! Now I spend my time in and out of the hospital, making friends in the most unlikely of places.
