He's lost his memories and to make matters worse something else has happened. Something that Dino has done to make Eiji the perfect pawn to hurt Ash. Cover Art is not mine! I hated the ending of banana fish but some how it was okay i accepted it but some people didnt so i decided to change it a bit for u. Hope you enjoy:)

After Dino's death, Ash handed over all the documents and information he had on the Banana Fish drug, Dino's crime network and child prostitution ring and all the people on his payroll over to the police. In return he got immunity from prosecution which meant that after being the key witness in the trial that changed New York forever, all charges against him would be dropped and he would be free. Now, Ash was free which was what he had been fighting for for the last three years with only one goal in mind - to see Eiji again. But how would he contact him when Eiji had assumed he was dead? How would he explain it and apologize for all the pain he caused him? What if he moved on or hated him? Or worse, had forgotten about him? With Max's encouragement, Ash still tries to contact Eiji, hoping he gives him a second chance now that he is free... A new year is a good moment to start over, right? Will Eiji feel the same?
