However, after the Winter Solstice everything changed. Additionally, Elain's mind can't help but think about Lucien the one male who calls himself her mate. On the quest of following her destiny Elain must face decision after decision which will completely change the course of her future. This is my version of the sixth book in the acotar series and it's written from Elains pov. It's a love triangle between Elain, Lucien and Azriel and as os right now I don't know who Elain is going to end up with.

This is a fanfic based on elains POV. It follows her story of finding the hidden court, Dusk and making an adventure for herself during the last few months of her life. She knows she's going to die and had accepted it all until chaos errupts. Now she has to find a way to prevent her death for a little longer just so she can protect those she loves. Koschei threatens the fragile peace that has settled over Prythian with his search for the cauldron. However, its power is now inextricably linked to the one who has been gifted by it. *** "I'm not interested in a mate" he replied. "And don't start telling me what it feels like, and how it might be magic." Rhys gave a resigned laugh, then ran a hand through his hair, tousling it. "If you could just wait." "Spare me the lecture, Rhys." Rhysand looked up. "I won't lecture you. As a brother, though, I ask you to make me a promise." He remained silent, waiting for him to speak. "Before you drag Elain into this, at least think about it".

"You want to come in." It wasn't a question; it was a bold statement. He raised an eyebrow and felt her stiffen, although his body betrayed him when he thought about... No, no, he wouldn't think about that. "Is it an invitation?" "No," he responded automatically. However, she didn't hesitate and only smiled crookedly, with that confident and annoying expression. She leaned casually against the door frame, which only brought her closer to him, and stared him right in the eyes, with that look of mischief but something more behind it, that something more making him tense and clench his jaw.
