When the mercenary group 'The Vanoss crew' took on a mission to raid a research lab they didn't know what was waiting for them were four children in a destroyed building, starving and in need of help.

Pezzy was a pretty normal guy just trying to make it through high school even if the world seemed against him. sure he might have grown up in a group home and his only friend he thinks of as an older brother. but that was normal to him at least. but it seems everyone around him is hellbent on making his dreams impossible. in his own words he's the laughing stock of the world and when it seems his already miserable life is gonna end something strange happens. or at least strange to him after all he really wasn't used to having friends. toodles ~Maxzy~

Second book of From the same Star ~~~~~ Nearly a year passed since the comet that had granted them powers had appeared in the sky. The group, who were now called the Frouse, had been saving civilians for a good while. From petty crimes to others who used their gift for the wrong. The public praised them, the government hunted them...even if it wasn't as bad anymore. Life was different, but a new normal. Pezzy never forgot, he wanted to go home. He was tired, all he saw was the ungrateful and hate from those he saved. He tried, he really did, but this wasn't his gig. He was about to 'retire' when some disturbing news arrived to the Frouse's doorstep. Nexus was back.

Smitty seemed relevantly normal. Sure he might seem cold and heartless but hes a generally good guy! At least that's what Matt thought. Being Killed by your best friend surely wasn't on his bucket list. But here he is, angry and filled with revenge.
