Fourth Installment in the Fëanoriel Chronicles. It is Year 50 of the Fourth Age of Middle Earth. The Reunited Kingdom prospers, having mostly recovered from the Battle for Arnor fifteen years prior. Relations are being fostered between their neighbors, including the elves of Ithilien, the dwarves of Aglarond, and men of Rohan, Harad, and Dunland. Minas Tirith has become a hub of activity and growth. But all that is about to change. Rhûn, still at odds with the Reunited Kingdom, and a stronger nation than ever, has been taken over by a leader known in Gondor's past as the only truly evil queen. With a necromantic ritual, the Queen of Cats is brought back and she wants to return home. She wants her throne back. Prince Eldarion and his companions now face a threat truly beyond their comprehension. What if he didn't have any siblings? What if he was an only child? What if he had more of his mom in him than his dad? Or more of his dad in him than his mom? Or a lot of both his mom and dad? As Eldarion lies dying in the Fourth Age, the Elves have been forgotten. (or have they?)

With the death of King Elfwine, the life of his daughter Celebrian changes fundamentally. After years of living in Arnor with her mother, she returns as queen to the fatherland she barely knows. Upon her arrival in Rohan, however, she quickly realises that the life of a queen is not nearly as easy as she had imagined. Even after all these years, the kingdom is still marked by the War of the Ring and numerous subsequent battles, much like the sister kingdom of Arnor. The situation comes to a head when Sienna, the Queen of Gondor, sends troops into the kingdom of Arnor in the course of a long conflict. A place Celebrian and her mother are ready to defend by all means...
