After curing Radahn of his scarlet rot during the festival, he awakens in a completely new world after Miquella's interference, wishing to rid himself of him after having part of his plans thwarted. Now the undead monarch must find a way back, having to deal with Kazdel's civil wars, Oripathy, Lovecratian entities, political intrigue, and a vampire who wants to drink his blood. *This story is an OMAKE of the main story called Elden Monarch. Eventually, Mattheas was known in the Lands Between as the Caretaker of the Demigods, a person who served as the father figure of the demigods. They loved him, and he loved them back. Unfortunately, all good things are not meant to last. During the infamous event known as the Night of the Black Knives, Mattheas was killed by the infamous assassins who later killed Godwyn. Decades have passed, and Mattheas wakes up to a fractured and broken home. With the guidance of grace, now extended to the Tarnished like him.
