"I'm coming home." Home, that word had always seemed so foreign to Lyndsey Collins. Home used to be the small farm her mother had owned near the mountains, the farm were she thought she would spend the rest of her life working on. Her entire life consisted of working to keep her mom happy, that one goal she worked so hard to achieve clouded her eyes from the lies in her life. Now nothing more than a used pawn, Lyndsey is thrown into the underground with little will left to live. But when she finally meets people worth fighting for, she has to choose, to accept their fate as it is, or to break all rules and risk dying to be free. ----- Over 20 years later, a girl with no name, and no memory of her past dwells on an island of lost people. A place tucked away from the rest of human civilization with a handful of other's the same as her. In between short periods of time, they're frequented by a group of cruel and brash men; their only evidence that there's a world beyond their meager home. Little to the girl's knowledge, these men hold all the secrets to her past and all the destruction to her future.

Note: Have you ever wondered what it's like to be an Eldian? My name is Heinrich Steiner (I'm probably dead by the time you're reading this). I'm an 18-something-year-old that lives in the Eldian Internment Zones on Marley. Anyway, after a certain declaration of war **cough**cough** I decided to write this novel/memoir about my life to be remembered by. But it's also a journal: An Eldian's Journal.
