What's the meaning a life? Alana Franno, a sixteen year old moved from Ottawa to Toronto, she is shy and scared but when she gets there she meets Riley, a kind sweet girl, and Chloe, both dancers at the next step But what happens when she auditions for the next step, things take an bad and ugly turn when she sees that her diary and its stolen, who stole it? And is someone trying to hide something? As then Kate announces a party, but the party turns into a sleepover when a storm starts leaving Alana with that question What's the meaning of life?

A-Troupe has been torn apart... again, but what if all it took this time was one small and innocent game of truth or dare. No drama was intended to be caused from that one game they all were happily willing to play but with this one group of dancers anything could happen. New relationships begin to surface, tension arises and of course new enemies are made. The question is would you dare to play?

it's been thirty years since the next step dancers you know and love (aka our parents) graced the floor of the studio. and now? it's our turn.

everyone has troubles. even international dance champions. with great success comes a lot of pressure - from family, peers and even yourself. with each chapter written by a different fan of the next step - this is how we would change the next step, if it were up to us. we have nothing against tns writers, it's just an opportunity for the fandom to show off our creativity :) warning ; some topics covered in this book are mature topics.
