Everyone has a different perspective when they think about “love”. I found it to be very intriguing when I read a thread and people were asked to define “love” in one word. After looking at their responses, I decided to try to write my own version of love in a short story (scene) form based off of their definition of the word. (More info in the prologue).

At least because he is her very hot ex that left her without giving her a reason. But who cares, right? He is still very hot and now a businessman. Abi has finally gotten herself together, at least for the most part, after getting promoted as Head Waitress in the restaurant she works at. But her world turns around when she finds out that her new boss is no other than her very hot ex, Mister Blake Tavares. She can't deny that sizzling feeling still ignites her heart with just one look of his warm eyes, but will his arrival only make her life messier than it already is? Or will it give her a good lesson in life that will eventually teach her a little bit of forgiveness? Perhaps....even Blake will learn a little something from Abi's contagious smile he loves so much. One thing's for sure for Blake and Abi: No more waiting.
