Broken up equally to be used by five previous women, these parts of the Lightfire have been hidden and now must be found for Alaysa to be successful. All before Janek's time runs out, a secret he tries to keep from Alaysa by telling her instead, he will be set free from his exiled life. The wild bond they created means that if one is killed, then the other dies, immediately.
