It's been over a year since the end of the Overlord. Life has been returning to normal in Ninjago. The Ninja are experiencing ordinary life where there is no need for their powers. However, the hidden truth about the Overlord's past comes to light and may threaten Ninjago's very existence. Kai, Jay, Zane and Cole are without their powers, Lloyd has his while Nya's are weakened but slowly returning. In a time like this, will the Ninja succeed with half of their team powerless?
