This is a one-shot about the Delena scene at the end of 5x18. The first part is the original scene, and the second part is how I think the scene should've ended. This is my first fanfic ever. This is a delena one-shot that I wrote a while ago but never uploaded but I thought why not just upload it now. It's not really the best and probably has mistakes in it as it's the first thing I wrote but I still hope you read it and enjoy ☺️ Also pretty self explanatory but I don't own any of the characters in the book, the cw does. I just own the story.

Plot: This story takes place after the TVD finale. Damon and Elena's human life together, with their friends and family - old and new. Elena becomes a doctor, and Damon owns a bar. They get married, have a family, and live the rest of their happy life with everyone they cared about - except one very important one. See how Damon grieves his baby brother, and see how Bonnie lives her life to the fullest as her promise to Enzo. They all still go through more than average human problems, but it's all part of their life that they chose. Here's my version of Delena's happily ever after. - Some chapters are written in other point of views! It's not ALL Delena!

Just a little poem about Delena. Before anyone reads this poem, there is something they should know. I wrote this for my creative writing class. The one rule we had was to not use the words on the forbidden word list. Every time I write "...I mean", it was because I almost used a word from the list. I did that on purpose. I wanted to show that breaking away from habits is hard, but it creates something a lot better. Let's play a game in the comments. Try to guess which words were on the list that I used. Some are obvious, others not as much.

The is my interpretation of the beginning of season 4. Nobody knows that Elena is sired to Damon yet. But the sire bond story line will come in this story, so will the vampire hunter. In my version Elena drinks Damon's blood because she can't keep down animal blood. They go around sneaking her drinking from Damon and hiding it from everyone, especially Stefan. The thing is sharing blood is very intimate. And what happens when Elena finds herself enjoying it? Elena and Damon aren't going to get together instantly I hate when fanfics do this.
