After the tragic death of Damon Salvatore in Mystic Falls, Elena finds it harder to cope with her life. She try's coping, but its just too hard. Elena knows what to try to do to be with what she thinks is her only true love. Stefan then finds Elena in her struggles and convinces her to stay, promising her the life she deserves. Stefan starts spending more time with Elena. But Something happens, its got Jeremy, Matt and Caroline concerned, but she is unwilling to tell them the truth. Stefan eventually tells the secret out to someone he trusts, more than ever. In all of this, Elena is feeling calm and is no longer greifing over Damon's death. In fact, She is actually excepting it and realizes that the dreams Marquose gave Stefan and Elena had made her feel more alive then ever. Who knows if Stefan feels the same. It's another day in Mystic Falls with Elena and Stefan trying to bring Damon to understand that Elena choosing Stefan doesn't make him any less important or wanted. Damon most definitely isn't one to take words for a fact and even though he understands the situation he does not feel at ease with it. Fate plays in mysterious ways, for right before he is about to slip off the edge a little miracle happens. Another character joins our story and suddenly Damon Salvatore realizes that a "Princess of Darkness" isn't the only thing that he has been lacking.
