A Stranger Things fic that takes place after season 4 canon-events! (Also cross-posted on Ao3 + Webnovel) -Here's a brief synopsis El has made it a habit to visit Max in the hospital each day, in hopes of being there for her friend when she wakes up. Her relationship with Mike has slightly dwindled, seeing as she spends more time with Max than her "official" boyfriend going on three years. On the other end of things, Max is there to listen to El's updates and internally scream as she yearns to wake from her coma and be with her in any way possible. (And tell her about the feelings she's been hiding since the summer of 1985.) Meanwhile, both Will and Robin are disaster gays not-so-secretly pining for a Wheeler. I'll let you deduce that yourself. Most of these will be male characters, just because there are so little of them! Not to say that every single male character is gay or whatever-this is all fictional :) You can request if you want! (The title's in Portuguese, but it translates to "Truth Hurts, Needed Something More Exciting" and the actual story's in English; TRIGGER WARNING: Story centers around a depressed individual. This includes references to suicidal thoughts, but very mild and no gore.) Brazil-born, Queens teen John wants nothing more than to find love, but not just with anybody...Someone special, someone who he had been yearning for for quite some time and fallen hopelessly in love with. But what do you do when you've convinced yourself that your only chance at happiness is in the arms of an A-list celebrity, or in this case Millie Bobby Brown? Join John on a journey of not only love and heartbreak, but self-love and self-care. (P.S. There are two possible endings. It's up to you to decide how the story ends. Also, this story is dedicated to my best guy friend, John. Happy Belated Birthday and sorry for taking so long to put this together for you! You've been very patient. I hope you will find this story enlightening and that it will give you the closure you need while also letting you live out your wildest fantasies! Also, happy belated birthday to my ibf, Olivia! I hated that I wasn't able to get this out in time for John's actual birthday because of how insanely busy I've been with school, but it kind of worked out because now it can also serve as my birthday present to you! I did write myself into this story and I tried my best to eliminate bias and not make it come off like I was praising myself. I'm no savior. I was simply just trying to demonstrate how close John and I really are and how our friendship is an important part in both of our lives. I based the things I said about myself solely on things that he has actually said to me and I hope that translates through my story and doesn't come off like I'm being conceited. I would never want anyone to think that.)

What if Andrew Rich wasn't Eleven's biological father? What if they just assumed he was? And what if Eleven never saw hopper as a father figure and more of someone who just gave her shelter, food, and clothes? A collection of original, adorable, and emotional Mileven moments I envisioned, that occur before other unknown villains and monsters from season 3 interfere with their lives! I actually extended it out to connect to some known and/or speculated scenes/moments in season 3 and you will notice that towards the end. The story starts out really fluffy, pure, and innocent, but as the story goes on and they grow older, their relationship matures and so do they. Problems start to arise, growing pains start to become more prevalent, but it's nothing they can't fix and overcome together, so don't fret. Even when things get tough, hope is unwavering! It's 1988, and nothing has happened in Hawkins since El and her adoptive family moved back. Or at least that's what El thinks. Things take a drastic turn when El finds herself back in the Hawkins National Laboratory, where experiments run are far more dangerous than before and even more dangerous monsters are on the loose. With the portal to the upside down no longer in effect, and her powers coming back to her in small intervals, El finds that it's not just her who is once more a prisoner at the Laboratory but her friends as well.
