Freddie Trelundar Smith. She helps her mum investigate suspicious alien activity with the super computer in the attic, she helps her cousin Kate with U.N.I.T. investigations and she helps her aunt Dorothy with fundraisers for A Charitable Earth. Excluding the weekly alien encounters, her life has been fairly normal. Saving the world from psychotic potatoes with legs is almost a monthly occurrence. The only abnormal thing, in her opinion, are her nightmares. It is almost like she has lived another life. From the day they are born, humans are hardwired to slowly, but endlessly change. They are given the tools to adapt to whatever environment they choose to live. They don't realize how lucky they are to harness this gift, the gift of change. Humans are small creatures in this vast universe, but they are important. However, despite being given the gift of change, many humans choose to fight it. They don't want the change, so they constantly battle against it. Yet, no one has ever won. Except for me. Well, me and the Doctor. But we don't really fall in the 'human' category. Note: I do not own Doctor Who. All rights to BBC except my own characters. P.S. This is in no way a romance novel. In retrospect, maybe giving a mouse a cookie would've been the quickest path. Between confusing time travel and intergalactic trauma, making friends is a wee bit difficult; what's worse is forming a friendship with the one person you planned on hating. Spiders and pirates, ghosts and angels... Everything just keeps pushing the two of you closer. And honestly? It sucks. Sort of.
