Freed puts a spell on the FairyTail guild members because he's tired of having his guild mates reject there soul mates

The Guild was home to hundreds. From orphaned children to lost men, it was always a place to call home. But the home is no more. A man who loved and lived with the guild woke one day to it's ruins. The bomb residue and soot still covered his hands despite his pleads he didn't destroy his home. But his home is gone, and so his family of hundreds. And now he is left with a choice. Go south with his sisters to a new and uncertain life where people know him as Sister killer, or monster. Or go east through the boulevard of the unknown on his own lonely pilgrimage to somewhere else. But he is not forgotten and another pair decide to take The Eastward Boulevard.

This journey tests the bond of friendship between this unlikely pair, and tests the unnameable bond that has been growing since their partnership on Tenroujima. Bonds are flexible but are easily broken too, and will Evergreen say something that shatters their bonds for good? And one of them may not survive this journey... After Freed gets deathly sick with cancer all the wants is to see his love, Laxus. He stays in bed all day and all night and Laxus stays by his side the whole time.
