Jude Duarte has been in exile for three months now. After taking up a new and dangerous job, Cardan begins to worry about her well being, and wants her to return to elfhame. He returns to the mortal world to try to convince Jude to come back to Elfhame.

Turns out most people can't get ahold of Cardans letters to Jude. Some weren't even aware Holly Black actually wrote them. These letters ripped my heart out and I want to share that joy with you all. Characters belong to Holly Black and Cassandra Claire. I created this short story from a pinterest post/comment for some random person. Literally I know nothing about makeup or Sephora so if I messed it up, don't blame me. Also, I haven't read all the shadowhunters novels so my Magnus may not be super on point. This is supposed to be like Eva's final letter to Madoc, given to him after she died. (So for some reason l find Eva story really interesting and for a while l've been playing around with the idea that she left Elfhame because she knew/saw pieces of things that would happen in the future and left in order to try to prevent them. Like for example She knew the next time she saw Madoc would be the last (he'd be the one to kill her) and that her children would suffer in the hands of the court and one of them would become queen.) I don't know, l' m a terrible writer but l hope someone enjoys it anyways. 😅🤷‍♀️ Thank you for reading.

"I was considering coming to your rescue, before that dull little creature bored you to death. Alas," She could hear the smirk in his voice. "I realised then that it was only fair you get to experience how I feel when you start droning on about matters of state," "Yes, do tell me how deathly dull I am," She replied, aiming for the usual sarcastic bite to her tone, but it came out embarrassingly slurred.
