In the time of Judges when men turned their backs against Elohim, their hearts sought a king to rule them instead, just as other nations had done. Their shouts were answered when the prophet Samuel anointed Saul, a Benjaminite to be their king and rule over them. King Saul fathered many children during his reign. Of all his children, he favored Prince Jonathan but Princess Macaiah he called his own. When pride consumes him, it is his children who carry the curse of House Saul and they would have to survive the madness that consumed the first King.

A/N: Something I just wanted to write for fun for creative block. To clarify, this is talking about the Angel Studios version of David, specifically his shepard version. I don't want to associate this with changing the canon of the bible, but I just wanted to write a fun scenario that has been floating around in my mind ever since I've watched the series.
