This story details Sun and Lillie's paths immediately after the events of Pokemon Sun and Moon, then details the events between Heart of a Champion and Sun and Lillie Vs the World. The founding of Manalo Stadium, The Second World Championship of Sun's career, and many family events in Sun's and Lillie's lives make up this story.

Years after Sun's world championship victory in Heart of a Champion, he is happily married to Lillie and had a son by the name of Elio. The time has come for him to finally step down and spend some time with his family. Eventually a brash new Champion who seems unbeatable tries to goad Sun out of retirement. Sun has to juggle his family life and his life as a former Champion, will he accept the challenge, and if he does, does he really stand a chance against such a formidable opponent?

4 years after the events of Pokemon Sun and Moon. Sun, now 18 years old continues to reign as Champion in Alola. The Pokemon Battling World Championship is on the horizon and Sun has his heart set on competing in it. That's not all his heart is set on though. Sun wants to see his old friend Lillie again after she left Alola 4 years ago. With the first round of the World Championship in Kanto, will Sun be able to make his way in to the tournament, and if he does will he able to find Lillie once again?

Lillie had finally returned to Alola with her mom, Lusamine. She really misses Elio. The mysterious boy had somehow captured Lillie's heart. 4 Months after the ending of Pasio University, the students return from Summer break and are ready to get back to University for Sophomore year. things are different now than they were months ago though, the team are now Champions, and have a constant target on their back. Chosen by Calem who is busy in Mistralton to lead them in to this new storm is Elio. Elio leans on his friends, especially Brendan, and tries to take the challenges that captain brings head on, and with more climactic showdowns with his greatest rival, Rich, on the horizon, he'll have to have the team at the top of their game if they want to defend their title. New rivals and challenges await the students of Pasio University, but things get dicey when the challenges on the field become insignificant compared to the ones off it... Calem is drafted 3rd overall by Skyla's Mistralton Aviators and settles in to his new home with great nervousness and excitement. He finds that the team of veterans and youngsters alike is not open to his immediate leadership, and the role is much harder than he ever could have anticipated. Will Calem be able to save another program from misery? Or will this time just be too much for him, and will he return to his roots for another year at Pasio University?
