{Book 1: The Age of War} [COMPLETED] Optimus felt like a nobody -- he was just an Autobot, serving the cause like any other good soldier. However, one secret, held by his mentor, would make him so much more than a nobody. He will learn that soon enough. --- --- --- Optimus, student of Alpha Trion, had only trained for a few months before being shoved into the role of a soldier among the Autobots. Despite training under the oldest Cybertronian, he isn't so confident in his abilities to uphold the cause. With the looming threat of the Decepticons and low Energon reserves, he feels helpless. More so when the Autobots find out Megatron's master plan to murder Alpha Trion. The stress is getting to Optimus, paranoia and anxiety setting in. He finds that he can't escape within the confines of his processors, as unknown memories flood him and his recharging hours are filled with nightmares. Where did these memories come from? Why was he seeing these nightmares? This story is based in between Transformers Prime {This story is getting rewritten so ignore any typo or misspelling in here.} Everything in the world is at peace. No unicron, no Predicons, no Megatron. For the time being but that's not to say he's not working on doing something soon. A ancient creature from past time life on Cybertron has appeared that Megatron had wanted control over and still wants control but lays low to take this creature. This creature has been seen before and cause a riff of problems from team Prime and one bot on the team in particular. Can this bot protect his gift and this creature while protecting everyone else and his love without a repeat with the past? Now officially in hiding, they must fend off deactivation in the cavern they now call home. Zeta Prime steps down as the leader of the Autobots, handing off the responsibility to Ultra Magnus. Now, it's a race against the Decepticons as both factions attempt to locate and reach Vector Sigma, take the Key of the Matrix, and and travel to the Matrix's chamber. Megatron seems to have the advantage, but little did he know, Primus chose a new Prime many stellar-cycles ago.
