The Forest Green Academy for Outstanding Children, based around the fictional Harding-Pencroft academy, is a 10 year boarding school that churns some of the best marine biologists, Naval officers, and aurors in the world. Accepting world-wide from the ages of 12-21, getting into FGA is hard enough- the 7-hour entrance exam only admits around 15% of their young candidates. And even once they do get in, first year FGA students face what's known locally as their 'Hell year': a strictly regimented, very tiring year meant to not only prepare them for their PMM assessments, but to also weed off the weak.
For Harry, he starts off his 6th year strongly wishing to have some sense of peace and normalcy. His wishes aren't granted, as per usual- Hogwarts' new exchange program, meant to broaden the prospects of their students internationally, has linked them to eight students heralding from the island school of Forest Green.
And as always, there's a slight catch. Being one of only 5 learning institutes that accepts non-human beings, FGA students are used to being surrounded by their werewolf peers, being taught by fairies and selkies, and the occasional vampire or two.
Hogwarts is in for one hell of a surprise.
