Loki and Thor had been cast out by Odin, because he wanted them to learn how to live like Midgardians, so that they could understand how much better it was up in Asgard. The brothers had landed on a ship with red sails, what they later knew as the Crimson Queen. The captain of this ship was a man names Captain Othello James Clarke. They go on adventures, later sinking into more loving relations.

This story takes place after On stranger tides, I have sadly not been able to watch the new movie so I will be kinda disregarding it entirely. Here a quest starts as they travel to the Reaper's island, a lost island, a ship graveyard, the once home of a pirate who ruled the seas over a hundred years ago. This island is the home to the Reaper's treasure. All the booty of the once king of the seven seas. In this treasure according to the boy is an amulet, one with the power to control all enchantments, one with the power to free the Black Pearl. They travel across the sea in a commandeered ship. What they find and what happens after is something that throws them way off course.
