Life is hard for Winifred, not unbearable, better than some even but that doesn't change the way she feels. Waiting and serving the upper class and nobility like a dog, being treated less than human. This all changes though when one afternoon, she and the Lady she serves is ambushed in Lord Lockton's gardens. Many thoughts and feelings are running through her head. Will she survive these brutal mercenaries? Would life be better with them or back as a servant? All these and more. But never did the idea that the leader of this gang would fall for her.

(Inspired by their poems "The Passionate Shepherd to His Love" and "The Nymph's Reply to the Shepherd") Read the two poems, and felt as if the Passionate Shepherd was a love letter to Walter by Chris, and the Nymph's Reply was simply a reply to Chris from Walter denying Chris' love. Written during the lecture of my English class thereafter reading those poems. (I realise I misspelled Chris' last name, add an e)
