Prince Ludwig Beilschmidt: a commonly name spoken throughout his kingdom. He was a tall, serious bachelor no older than twenty. He was an extraordinarily handsome, however very responsible, man, so one would find it quite odd that he was constantly being lectured and scolded over the same thing, time and time again. The one reoccurring problem the prince has is: Refusing to take a bride and inherit the throne. No woman ever managed to catch his eye... until one day, when his apparent soul mate beat the crap outta him in the middle of the woods.

Elizaveta had never forgotten about him, no matter what she told herself. Gilbert chose to enlist in the army immediately upon graduating from college, and after barely four months in training, he had been shipped to Afghanistan. For a brief year, they exchanged letters, regularly bringing tales of adventures, escapades with new friends, cheesy declarations of love. But suddenly, all connection was cut off. He stopped responding. And after several attempts, she stopped sending.

Elizaveta Thorne was raised in the Redwood Timbers pack in California. Since she failed out of the elite branch of warriors known as the Predators who hunted the Hunters two years ago, she doesn't have many responsibilities beyond the occasional border patrol. At 20 years old, she hopes to never find her mate. Unlike most females in her pack, Eliza never had a calling towards mating or motherhood. While birth and children fascinate her, it was never something she wanted to experience herself. Her best friend, Minerva, is the alpha's daughter. Natural alpha females are extremely rare as most alphas have only sons. As such, Minerva is constantly bombarded with visits from foreign wolves hoping to score an alpha female for a mate. When Alpha Callais comes looking for Minerva, and finds Eliza instead, Eliza's worst nightmare comes to fruition. The only thing worse to her than a mate, is an alpha mate. What will she do when Alpha Callais demands not only a pup, but a litter? Not to mention the rising encounters with Hunters.

Roderich is a young trainer who lives in the town of Vindóbona, a small, snowy village in the Austraei region. He and his best and only friend, Erzsébet, have finally reached the moment in their lives where they are to go on their journey.
