I wrote this when I was 14, and I just decided to revise and start posting it, so please don't judge lol Disclaimer: I don't own any characters in NCIS, including McGee, Morgan, Gibbs, Bishop, Ducky, Torres, DiNozzo, Vance, Johnny, Delilah, or any other characters that you may recognize from the show. Ellie Bishop has been given her very first undercover assignment. And as Proby to Gibbs team she's making it her mission to not let him down. Nick Torres, a professional undercover agent, has been clear instructions to watch over Ellie Bishop, without her realizing it. Both playing a game around each other while hoping the other doesn't find out. But then something happens. They begin to slowly fall in love. Will Ellie be able to prove her worth to Gibbs and the team? Or will this unexpected stranger wipe her off her feet? Can Nick play the con long enough to past the test the director has given him, or will love threaten to take everything he has worked for away? For the sake of the story, Tony is with Ziva, even though it takes place 6 months after Ellie arrives. (Please don't hate me😔)

At the party night of the office, maybe the relation between Ellie and Nick will evolve in something more romantic.

For this fic, I kept the main parts of season 18 canon the same, and the main change is the Bishop-leaking documents storyline. So, other aspects of the finale like with Gibbs and his boat, and Ellie being trained by Odette is the same but I tried to make the storyline more true to her character and also added my own interpretations of what happened in prior events. I don't know how many parts there are going to be or when I will post each one, so thank you for your patience and I will upload new chapters as soon as I finish them. This whole story is just a perspective I have of a possible alternate plot point for the S18 finale that I hope feels more in character and is enjoyable. Also, there will of course be plenty of Ellick! :) Quick Summary/Introduction: Classified documents have been leaked from the NSA and all signs point to Ellie Bishop. However, she is not at all responsible as it goes against everything she is and believes in. So the question remains, who actually released the intel and why would they frame Ellie? And what is going on with Nick that he isn't sharing with her? They might be able to finally express to each other their true feelings and have a chance at a future together, or Bishop will be punished for a crime she didn't commit and never be able to return to her life as an NCIS special agent.
