Didn't see many of this kind of reader insert stories in the community of Wattpad, so I decided to write this. This is the story of what happened when Rose Tyler, with no means of her getting back to her own world decided to stop pining after the Doctor. She chose to get on with the life she had been handed and met a certain grumpy Alec Hardy at her newly opened shop in a town called Broadchurch and after a case of mistaken identity changed both their lives for the better. This was the first story I ever wrote, back in 2014 so a lot of things have since come to light since. The story goes between the characters points of view so some parts may be repeated. This is my first Role-play book. I'll make this much as great as possible, please enjoy this and stay friendly within the role-play community.

couple of warnings before I ruin Broadchurch by writing this story: 1* Alec may at times be OOC (Out Of Character) especially around my OC and 2* I am new to the show and as I always do I'm watching it as I write so I can stick with it as much as possible (the lame book title may change once I think of a better one😜) Lofn (pronounced lɔvən/loven) Verðandi had been living in Broadchurch for about a month she was the type of woman who normally kept to herself spent more time on the beach or the cliffs searching for peace and for the most part she got that when she first moved to Broadchurch she got a job as a Gofer (person who runs errands) she wasn't sure why she got a job there but for the most part she slightly enjoyed it she became fast friends with Detective Sargent Ellie Miller and got along with a few others her life started to change when Detective Inspector Alec Hardy came into town for she started to feel things she's always been to afraid to feel/has never felt before and she finally allows herself to feel them and yet tries to fight them but fails she believes she let those feelings show a little to quickly and is surprised when they are answered in kind especially with the type of attitude the man she feels them for has what's worse is that she's never really liked a man with a beard mainly do to the fact that everytime she sees one they instantly remind her of her father a man she's hated since she was 8 years old

Author's Notes: This is an AU story set just after the events of season 1 and the rest of the seasons my version of events will probably vary wildly from the actual show. There isn't much you need to know before reading this, but if you haven't finished the first season, DO NOT read this story. It will spoil the killer. I know the show has been out for nearly three years but I don't want to ruin the end for anyone because the season was so brilliantly and carefully

Im already so so sorry about writing this) Summary: DI Y/N L/N moves back to Broadchurch after 4 years of working as a private investigator in London to get past her severe anxiety. Reuniting with Ellie Miller and meeting DI Alec Hardy. Y/N starts working on a new case with them, but soon it turns out she is not the same person with anxiety that left Broadchurch 4 years ago.
