Raina is a regular teenager for the most part. She has a horse, Jake her best friend (and her crush) and all and all life is good. Then the stables hires a riding instructor who tries to suck every dollar out of a horse and leaves a deadly path of destruction behind. While Raina trails behind trying to clean up the mess, the instructor sets her sights on a little pony named Ellipsis Blue. Can Raina save him in time or will she lose everything trying? Based on a very true story...

Ellipsis (plural ellipses; from the Ancient Greek: ἔλλειψις, élleipsis, "omission" or "falling short") is a series of dots (typically three, such as "...") that usually indicates an intentional omission of a word, sentence, or whole section from a text without altering its original meaning. (Yes I did look that up on google so umm research credit?)

The breakfast table is usually the place our day begins. "Leadership" is the first in, I hope, a series of stories about our morning chats. The inspiration for this volume came from the 7 December 2018 prompt "Debate". Part 2, "The 7 Habits of Highly Successful Assassins", was not supposed to be in this volume at all. It began as a stand-alone story about an assassin writing a self-help book to respond to the March first prompt "List". But I was having trouble making it work. Then my muse, my wife, showed me how to fix it. But I still liked the title. I apologise for any confusion this may engender.

Ellipsis thinks this year might be different for the other ones. She thinks this year may be the end of her Ellipsis, and be a new start. Maybe even the start of a new sentence.
