Ellis and his friends Rochelle, Nick, and Coach have been fighting for their lives since the zombie apocalypse has started. After the bridge blows up in New Orleans and they safely get into the helicopter, the four find themselves at a military base in a secure area in Louisiana with other survivors. Seeing three familiar faces, Zoey, Louis, and Francis, it seems they might be able to settle down and not have to worry about the zombies coming after them for once. However, Ellis soon gets these weird feelings when he is around Nick. His heart flutters, he stutters on his words, different things he never noticed due to the adrenaline of killing zombies. Will Ellis's school-girl crush on Zoey last, or will another form of love rise through the blood and guts? (Currently editing and still creating chapters! Edit: hey! It's been 4 years! This will be my NEW take on the story! Same concept but a little more original! Zombies will now be living creatures, but the virus inside their brian makes them more hostile and animalistic Ellis meets a hunter but realises that the hunter was much more different than any other infected or hunter there. will ellis's new hunter friend be kept a secret from his group? or will hunters teammate infected find out?
