Their mother forced her to go to medical school while meredith was away backpacking across Europe. She graduated her intern tear when meredith was half way through medical school. Years later, with her mother dead Isabella comes to Seattle to take head of pediatrics (Arizona is head of fetal surgery) How will Meredith and Isabella get on when she comes back, how will meredith feel when her baby sister is head of a department at 25.
