He's a human. She's a mermaid. They both fall in love. Ellen, or Ell for short, was a simple mermaid. There weren't many people she hung out with. It was very peaceful where she lived. Suddenly, a shark attack occours, and the mer-people were forced to retreat. Many were injured, others were killed. Her parents were sadly placed in the "killed" category. With her injuries and her only friends, she goes up to live on land. Being one of the only mermaids to understand it, she immediately fits in. Then, one boy would change her life...
