The eleventh entry of the 2022-2023 Film Journal features some of my favorite cartoon characters with "Looney Tunes: Back in Action". Here, I recount my special memories with these beloved characters and cartoons, the film's value, and why this realm of the animation medium still has value today.

A slow burn of Bugs Bunny x Daffy Duck. I tried keeping cannon to the characters and to the general dynamics of the two. this will be updated as often as I'm motivated. Also I obviously don't own any of these characters or Looney tunes

Bugs doesn't understand why Lola and Elmer don't get along. He tries to be peacemaker but make things worst when Elmer accidentally knock a Tennis ball on Lola's face. She keeps taunting Elmer into taking a dip in the sea. When Elmer loses his temper then Bugs realises Elmer has phobia of water. Bugs wants to help Elmer to overcome his fear. He bagins to seek help from books and even Daffy. Elmer refuses to admit his fear of water and snub Bugs's help. Bugs hits an idea. He engages the help of Lola who is sorry for being mean to Elmer. They device a plan to make Elmer go into the water to save Lola who is pretending to be drowning. The plan backfires. Lola has leg cramp and Elmer can't swim and needs saving himself. Bugs can't save them too because he has phobia of hubters. Luckily Daffy arrives in the nick of time to rescue them. In the end Bugs learns about himself - he is not as brave as he thought. Elmer also learns that admitting weakness is not necessary a bad thing.

World War II has finally ended and young soldier, Elmer Fudd, has arrived home with nothing but his life. Down on his luck, he stays in a rundown inn in a small town where he meets a street harlot. He's strange and trashy and dressed as a woman, yet someone about the way he holds his cigarettes pulls Elmer in. "Y'know...A cigarette is just an excuse to not talk to someone."

The Tunes in Tune Town are sent the SMS "R u home?" Whoever gets that text is bound to be doomed. Who sent it? And why? It's up to Bugs and the gang to find the sender.

After countless time of playing second fiddle to Bugs, Daffy Duck finally has a new life, free of getting blasted from Elmer Fudd, and always being humiliated by Bugs's clever antics. That is just what the residents of Tune Town did and now it is up to Bugs and team to do some ghost-busting before the ghost does some serious busting to the estate prices. Even Elmer who has always been staying overnight at the House venue because of the situation at home now feels the creeps. It seems in order for him to get any restful sleep at night, he is forced to resolve the situation at home. Can they find the answer to these strange happenings? Meanwhile, an old man cries in the dark, crying for himself, for his young, for his home.

The Tunes are at a Prank war to see who wins the prize of Vacation of their choice. Meanwhile, Elmer has a grudge against everyone he ever had contact with, he comes up with a plan that would leave them feeling itchy and embarrassed.
