{Warning: Contains Massive Spoilers For E. Lockhart's Novel 'We Were Liars'; Do Not Read If You Have Not Finished The Book} Cadence is gripping life again. Her mother celebrates knowing that her hallucinations are gone, she's found a new love interest, she has stopped giving away all of her possessions, and she's even gaining popularity. Cadence is slipping. Her breath always smells of bitter alcohol, she pulls out he hair piece by piece. Cadence is trapped inside her own mind.

What if Cadence, Mirren, Gat, and Johnny's stories didn't end that way? What if... they had a new beginning? A short story based on a "what if" I had desperately wanted to happen. SPOILERS for people who have not read "We Were Liars" by E. Lockhart all the way to the end.

"It was my place, and then it was our place." Cadence retakes junior year of high school due to the incident. It was 2am when she went out to the swing set, then she saw him. She's never seen him around before, was he new? It didn't matter, he was the only one who could see the real her. This is a Continuation of what happened to Cady after the book We Were Liars ended.
