After trying human transmutation on her mother, Arya loses her left hand and her right leg. She can now use alchemy without drawing transmutation circles, as all people who have gone through the Gate and seen the Truth can. At fifteen, she decides to go to Central Command, the head of all of the military. There, she meets Edward Elric, who with which she seems destined to be with, for they have so much in common. After much training, Arya is able to become a State Alchemist and travel with the Elric brothers. But as soon as they are sent out to fight the Homunculi, Arya, who is at the time unable to fight due to her still-healing leg, catches the eye of Envy. Arya has an unexplainable feeling towards the Homunculus. What will happen if they can't defeat the Homunculi because of what Arya might choose? What if she decides to join the other side? The fate of Amestris lies on Arya and her choices.

Edward Elric is annoyed by Colonel Mustang. Mustang or Roy always gives him tiny assignments that he's to busy to do.
