Elsa was supposed to be the villain, and there was a mystical prophecy. It read as follows: "Your future is bleak, your kingdom will splinter. Your land shall be cursed with unending winter. With blasts of cold will come dark art, and a ruler with a frozen heart! Then all will perish in snow and ice! Unless you are freed with a sword sacrifice." Basically, it means that a ruler with a heart as cold as ice will destroy Arendelle. Follow along as Anna tries to save Arendelle with her friends Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven, and break the prophecy once and for all. I have incorporated elements from the movie and the Broadway show.
