**********MUST READ********** Well my first story. This is about a girl called Lorna. She is an orphan who is known to most as misfits. Misfits are hunted, for the council has made everyone believe that they are not to be trusted for the tricks they can play on ones mind (really because their scared they can't control them). Lorna is one of many that can use their minds to speak from great distances to other misfits and speak to animals. There are many mind tricks these people can play but some use it for worse rather than good. I have read the book Obernewtyn and I really liked the setting so I've turned it into my own.

After her mother's funeral, Elspeth's daughter returns to her childhood home and "vaguely saunters" down memory lane when she comes across her mother's diary. Only a few entries are written inside, but each one opens up doors to a tale of biblical proportions! You may remember her mother as Elspeth McKinnon, a former grave robber who experienced something magical and life-changing one night in a graveyard in 1827. But her only child remembers her mother as steadfast, faithful, and too busy in her church. But all that changes as she continues to read...

I turned only to widen my eyes in shock. Well HELLO! Just standing a couple of steps away from me was a very- no extremely good-looking guy. "Hi," I said softly and could feel my cheeks starting to turn red. "Let me introduce myself, I'm Barclay Batson- the best man." He took a step closer to me and leaned down to whisper in my ear, "And I believe that we have a tradition to uphold." Elspeth Arden is attending her cousin's wedding this summer as a bridesmaid- unwillingly of course. She's told by many of the other bridesmaids that it's the tradition to sleep with the best man. And that best man just happens to be Barclay- better known as Clay Batson. He's handsome, funny, and charming, but is determined to get through all of the bridesmaids just as tradition has promised. But what happens when Elspeth rejects him, when the tradition is broken, and Clay becomes insistent on getting her in bed? What happens when it turns into a bet and becomes a lot more complicated than need be? What happens when she says I do...not want your body?

A man on his nightshirt runs in to her room seeing her in the middle of the floor surrounded by flames. He runs up to her but he's to late, she's gone. After that night he started to blame himself because she couldn't save her, so he quits his job and get obsessed whit finding out how killed her.

'Icarus laughed as he fell. Threw his head back and yelled into the winds, arms spread wide, teeth bared to the world. (There is a bitter triumph in crashing when you should be soaring.) The wax scorched his skin, ran blazing trails down his back, his thighs, his ankles, his feet. Feathers floated like prayers past his fingers, close enough to snatch back. Death breathed burning kisses against his shoulders, where the wings joined the harness. The sun painted everything in shades of gold. Hello everyone, and welcome to my ongoing book of poetry. Elspeth, Nicole, Aurora, Ivy, Mirai, and Florence are all original characters in my fanfiction "Hello, From the Edge of the World." I created this book because I write a lot of poems, when I can, in my free time and felt like sharing them. Whenever I write one I will post it on here, so feel free to read and enjoy them! This is a poetry book as a tribute for Saltburn. The masterpiece from my eyes, from my perspective, of what I think and feel as Oliver. He never told us about his feeling. So I try to fill that blank space. I hope I represent his feelings.
