Emalee Clark has always been the "good girl". She respects everyone around her and always has a smile on her face. She doesn't judge people by the way they look, what they like or what they believe. She judges by actions and personality. Whenever she starts her Sophmore year in high school, Christopher Banks, the rumored "bad ass" a new kid, starts giving her a different vibe that doesn't make her feel safe. She begins to avoid making contact with him. He smokes, drinks, doesn't follow the state and school rules, has been arrested twice and has been given a DUI. But when fate takes a wrong turn for Emalee, he's the one to make it all better. Will Emalee change her thoughts about this bad boy?
