My extinct is to run away from pain. I've just always done that. And my running led me to someone who would grant me more pain than thought possible. He's an amazing anomaly. Otherwise known as Easton Reign. And now he's the one running.

Emberlyn Lyons has lived a normal, seventeen year old life, so far. Well as normal a life as a werewolf can have that is. She first shifted when she was three, earlier than any other werewolf that lived. Ember has lived with her parents, older sister and younger brother since she was born. A few weeks before her eighteenth birthday, Embers' grandfather shows up. He's come for one of the kids. He is looking for the next Alpha of his back. Claire, Ember's older sister, is ready and willing to fill the position. But their grandfather has his sights on Emberlyn.

Emily died only 3 months after the birth of her baby, Emberlyn, leaving Vic as a single father to raise their 3 month old baby. The problem is, Ember is a constant reminder of Eden; so the little girl Vic once loved to the ends of the earth and held so precious to him, is now hated because of it. From neglect to abuse, the things Vic does to her starts to slowly break her.
