(This is the sequel to The Forgotten Wild, so if you haven't already, please read that first!) × Several moons after the battle between MistClan and StormClan, secret meetings and unlit gatherings start to take place; and Silverdust waits. While Emberstar, the new leader of StormClan, recruits the rogues of twolegplace, Silverdust secretly gathers allies among her clan; and then amung the other clans at the gatherings. Then the news of murders reach StormClan's ears, and Silverdust's careful plans are ripped to shreds.

My name is Ashlyn and I'm your average 12 year old girl. My life is pretty boring, honestly, and I can't even think about being a hero. But one day a mysterious man dressed in black rings my doorbell. But a great apocalypse is also brewing, and the only way to stop it is to protect a relic so great that the fate of the world rests in it. If the relic falls into the hands of evil, the apocalypse WILL happen and the world will be destroyed. Will I be able to discover my secret powers and save the world?

As their home becomes more and more dangerous to live in and survival becomes harder than ever, the cats of FireClan are forced to leave and look for a new place to live. But that will mean leaving RockClan alone and maybe even moons of traveling. But the path that is laid out for them is impossible to change and they have to accept their fate, even though where they travel seems to cross with other known cats. Is FireClan really up for such a big change, or will they be lost forever?

As the new leader of FlameClan, Emberstar, deals with new responsibility, invaders, and the forest's new nuisance, Emberstar must pull his Clan forward, in the pursuit to survive. The feral cats aren't going to take their peace, and we'll see what the leader must overtake to keep his duties from crushing him.. mentally, or physically.

Emberstar is a good cat from Rockclan, or is he really? He is actually dark and insane deep down and soon it will all unleash.
