Princess Mae lamented many things about her life; hunger, poverty, struggle, and sleeping altogether in the crush of their two-room tenement. For these things she blamed her mother and the poor choices which had left her the sole provider of four children from three different father's. Then, like fallen petals swept to sea in a winter's gale, it was all gone. She is just 14-years-old and alone on a plane, traveling to America. Off to a father she had never known and a step mother who doesn't want her.

This is a novel about my real-life great-great-grandmother who lived a life of deprivation and poverty in Scotland, and her son, my great-grandfather, who emigrated to the United States in 1887 at the age of 15. As always, this is a "first draft" and I welcome comments and feedback.

Agnieszka Paletta did what most of us only dream about doing - she quit her job, family and friends and travelled to live in a foreign country. And what's more, she did this more than once. Call it reckless or fearless, that is she. This laid-back, entertaining book is the story of this Polish-Canadian-lover-of-Italy's move to Germany, a new frontier. Through her eyes, discover the curiosities of her surroundings; love some and gape at others, yearn for home, try to buy one, laugh with her and at her. Doing Germany is travel writing at its best: a funny, witty, irresistible portrait of Germany, set against the backdrop of Paletta's relationship and vigorous loyalties as well as her devotion to Poland, Canada and Italy.

This story is about the middle life of Michael Mostyne, a thirty-something property developer and dealer, who has fallen foul of Great Britains 1970s economic recession, and the weak ineffectual government of Edward Heath. A property crash like no other, it seemed the inevitable end to a promising career for Mike, but it is also the end of his unhappy marriage to Lavender Mostyne. An account of the painful struggle to get back on his feet, whilst dealing with the past and acrimonious divorce from Lavender, Mike Mostyne finally leaves Newbury; his place of birth, and moves to London. Away from the chaos and in need of a fresh start, he initially takes temporary work, but then he finally lands a managerial job, running the branch office of a West London real estate agency in Hammersmith. West London is practically unknown to him, but he soon finds his way around, and finally, success turns to success and his life begins to change. But it is not that easy, because he also has to manoeuvre around the company bosses, their narrow self-interest, and his own objectives. Because, Mike is looking for big money, and ultimately to start his own business. London is not short of girls, and Mike Mostyne is rarely on his own. Anne was his rescuer from his Newbury past, but Christine - a West End PA and a good time girl - who looks at him through a cloud of cannabis smoke - only sees him as her weekend treat. Sofie is a minor Dutch diplomat and although a bit more serious, she lets him down when his son Mark is kidnapped by the IRA. And finally, there is Nadezhda Antova, who friends say is a honey trap, but who Mike marries despite their warnings. From rags to riches and back again, is Margaret Thatchers 1989 property crash going to finish off Mike Mostyne, as Ted Heath and the Conservative Party had in the 1970s? And, will he find personal happiness with Nadezhda?

A splinter pack is wanting to move to Folica, and needing to get permission even before going! Upon arrival, they are making the Folicans realize that humans (and their werewolves) are even stranger than they first thought! This is an offshoot story of my Wolf Tech Series, and @MaxD01's Folican Chronicles Parts of this story have been co-written by @MaxD01. Timeline: this story is after the Folicans return to Earth openly, and after Wolf Tech: Cats and Santa Paws. It is about the same timing as Wolves in Space Note: this story has barely any updates on it... due to the fact it was supposed to be a shared story with Max, but with his passing, it is very hard for me to get into the work to actually write it.

No other event has change the history of mankind as the invasion of the "New World" by the Europeans in the 16th century. MEXICO WITHOUT LIES explains the evolution of the most representative pre-Hispanic culture, that of the Aztecs, from the invasion to the present days. In a rather colloquial way, it discusses the collective psyche, social behavior, political approach, economy and the future of modern Aztecs.
