Beginning in Hungary in 1905, nineteen year old János Fodor is forced to leave his homeland and his childhood love behind for a new life in America. He sails across the ocean and ends up in Ohio, where the trials of a foreign language and xenophobic surroundings prove difficult to find happiness. Will Mary be his silver lining, or was he better off in the land that he loved? **this is a historical fiction story about my 2nd great grandfather who was born in Hungary and immigrated at 19. That is all we know of him, and this is my interpretation of his story.

last year, in grade 7, my social studies teacher wanted us to write a really really short story that included immigration vocabulary because we were learning about immigration or something. i can't remember lmaooo. it turns out mine was the longest one in the class and of course i decided to write about larry because why wouldn't i, and he picked up my story and read it to the entire class because i was too embarrassed to do so. everyone couldn't stop laughing and i just wanted to share it because it's so stupid and cringey and funny ? ? ? ? This is a novel about my real-life great-great-grandmother who lived a life of deprivation and poverty in Scotland, and her son, my great-grandfather, who emigrated to the United States in 1887 at the age of 15. As always, this is a "first draft" and I welcome comments and feedback.

This story is about the middle life of Michael Mostyne, a thirty-something property developer and dealer, who has fallen foul of Great Britains 1970s economic recession, and the weak ineffectual government of Edward Heath. A property crash like no other, it seemed the inevitable end to a promising career for Mike, but it is also the end of his unhappy marriage to Lavender Mostyne. An account of the painful struggle to get back on his feet, whilst dealing with the past and acrimonious divorce from Lavender, Mike Mostyne finally leaves Newbury; his place of birth, and moves to London. Away from the chaos and in need of a fresh start, he initially takes temporary work, but then he finally lands a managerial job, running the branch office of a West London real estate agency in Hammersmith. A splinter pack is wanting to move to Folica, and needing to get permission even before going! Upon arrival, they are making the Folicans realize that humans (and their werewolves) are even stranger than they first thought! This is an offshoot story of my Wolf Tech Series, and @MaxD01's Folican Chronicles Parts of this story have been co-written by @MaxD01. Timeline: this story is after the Folicans return to Earth openly, and after Wolf Tech: Cats and Santa Paws. It is about the same timing as Wolves in Space Note: this story has barely any updates on it... due to the fact it was supposed to be a shared story with Max, but with his passing, it is very hard for me to get into the work to actually write it.
