But the fates have been reversed (and before you ask, Kousei is the ill one, not Kaori, who is far from that in this story), which will make for quite a gripping, if not heart-wrenching story, maybe more so than the original. ----- Please note, I do not write fanfics often, but I feel this is a story the needs to be told. Basically the retelling of the story "Your Lie in April" and a glimpse to Kousei's future via a songfic with the tone of the classical American patriotic song called "Battle Hymn of the Republic" and the lyric was inspired from a song, from the World War 2 era United States Army, titled "Blood on the Risers". Pairing mentioned: Kousei x Kaori and Kousei x Tsubaki Your Lie in April is not mine, and the songs used as an inspiration also belong to the respective creators. To the readers who are a real life paratrooper, regardless of country you are, respect for your service.

A Your Lie in April/Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (四月は君の嘘) short story where Arima Kousei, Emi Igawa and Takeshi Aiza met once again to watch a concert. While waiting for the event to start, Emi introduced a game called Piano Tiles 2 and they decided to have a battle to see who's the best at one Spring day.
