It's 1945, World War II. This period bring a lot of struggles, pain, losses, but also... love? When Emily Carter returns with her half-term stay in Spain, her life will return to normal. She'll be spending time with her best friend, famed millionaire and playboy Howard Stark. She'll try to avoid military as much as she can, but since her sister is an agent, she won't have it easy. Even Sergeant Barnes, whom she meets at the bar, doesn't make it easier to her. She begins to feel something she had never felt before. Are their feelings the same, or someone's affection for the other is even stronger?

Emily Carter is the smartest wizard of her age, her mother is a veela and her father a muggle, she arrives at Hogwarts and is introduced to the Weasley's from her mother. She is invited to the World Cup and there she meets a special HufflePuff Boy.

This is a story of a girl called Emily Carter who has just moved to Walford from Watford and a secret comes out what secrets haunt her past read it to find out . This is my first fan fiction sorry if it is crap please give me your feedback and let me know your ideas.

"You know fine well why" he says, his eyes flooded with lust. "This scrap of material you're wearing isn't doing anything to help" "You mean my dress?" I ask feigning innocents as I brush my lips across his neck. "If you can call it that" Hunter responds looking down at my attire. "What else would I call it?" I bat my eyelashes playfully and Hunters teeth grind together. "A fucking test of my self control" He growls into my ear and I full on laugh. I love that I still affect him the way I do.

wow, okay, wow. this story has been my pride and joy for the past year and a half. i'm at seventeen thousand words and five chapters, but i've only included two chapters in this sneak peek of my wip. i'm so proud of this and i've developed a really strong relationships with not only my fictional characters but other writers as well, and i'm finally exposing it to the light of day by submitting it to the genre contest 2019. thank you for reading; have an awesome day.
