During the winter of 2014, Gwendolyn Winchester lost her best friend, Beth Washington, and her twin sister, Hannah Washington. Since then, months have passed by and Gwendolyn continues to suffer through remorse and survival's guilt -- as well as her feelings for her late best friend's brother, Joshua Washington. Then, exactly one year later on the anniversary of her friends' disappearance, Gwendolyn is invited back to the Blackwood Mountain, but she suddenly feels unwelcome on the mountain, and it isn't just the tenseness between her friends.
