This is a collection of my own original poems, and some that inspire me the most. This won't have a regular updating schedule, so I'll be posting new poems just whenever. IMPORTANT NOTE: Some of these poems are not my original works. They are a few that inspire me and have some ideas that just help me get through the day. I keep these ideas in my head at all times because they help me keep being me, which is why this collection is called "On My Mind." (Cover: courtesy of Google Images.)

A wild imagination of Hailee Steinfeld and Ella Hunt's friendship/relationship, from the beginning to the end of filming Dickinson. A bit angsty:) This is just pure imagination, to fulfil my wildest dreams. I do this with other celebrities (in my head) sometimes cos it's fun. This is not meant to be a conspiracy theory, or to offend anybody (dear god, forgive me if I shall offend a person on the internet). Just fiction. Capisce? Mostly about Hailee and Ella, so the other characters aren't as full-fledged in early chapters but I'll try to develop more in the latter chapters. Also, this is my first time writing an actual fan fiction. I have dabbled in that world before, but it was mainly for friends and I would create my own characters based on me and my friends. So I actually had a bit of experience when it comes to writing real person-based characters but I knew my friends and I could always go straight to them for information. Now these are celebrities I only know from the *wonderful* internet and I know you shouldn't trust everything on the internet. I have been intrigued by poetries since the start of high school, I've had the best english teachers along the way to my senior year. Certain teachers and students took an interest into my poems and I got better through time and experiences, either personal or collective.

Yeah, it's in the title I got really into Emily Dickinson's poetry recently. That progressed into finding the show and being like "oh, a fellow gay? We must investigate" Well, I did some investigating and now I need to vent

Poem inspired by Emily Dickinson

The book 'Emily Dickinson And The Search For Meaning' examines her place in the context of American literature of the time and her questing exploration of the internal world of spirit and intellect. After taking the reader through the days of her life and quaint relationships she had had, the book attempts to evaluate the complex symbolism of her poems and her unique interpretation of her poetic device of 'circumference'. Circumference, for Emily Dickinson, meant a host of complex interpretations, but is also death - the transitional point between the familiar world and immortality. Based on a doctoral thesis, this book explores the subject of her life-long search for meaning: it tries to comprehend the intricate metaphysical philosophy that she developed in her life time, symbolised by her fascination with all things spherical, and termed in her own language as circumference. She consciously strove to disrupt the natural flow of the literary tide of the day and create a new idiom, syntax and vision, perhaps arising from her deliberate self-exclusion from society. The view of the world from her window, from the window of her heart, presents today a marvellous, intriguing and radically new perspective which entices every reader to seek to know more about her and her life. The book is based on a doctoral thesis of Dr CK Mathew.

A field of poppies, a drop of a potion, and the River Lethe. Hounds, Fae, and the Goddess Rhiannon. Sugar plums, snowflakes, flowers, and dancers twirling, twirling, and twirling. Open the book and get transported into fairytales and myths of old and new, heard and unheard of. **NOTE: I am hoping for advice on a potential title, and cover design**
