In the Code, your avatar can be challenged to duel with other players, the result of the duel moving one of the players up in the rankings. There is a glitch, in the game, however, one that brings the simulation to life. Players whose avatar gets shot wake up from the simulation with a gunshot wound or something along those lines. None of the game's admin know who or what has spawned the glitch - but Meiko has a hunch. With headset and controller in hand, she investigates all the injured and disappearing players, bringing all their ailments back to the same player - 'blackswordsmen_' - one who has mysteriously never been beaten in a supervised duel. © 2013 Laura Bowden
