Most of the chapters have fluff, but some delve into angst and hurt comfort territory. There is also some light swearing. But, it's mostly fluff. All characters belong to Dana Terrace and Disney.

It was a frenzied period of transition for everyone in the Boiling Isles. Belos was dead, the Day of Unity crisis was averted, the covens fell into disarray and fought amongst themselves for control of the empire, despite the Titan having chosen a successor. The Isles were teeming with new life after the conflict, courtesy of the new Empress. Under her rule, magic was no longer restricted and witches were free to pursue any types they wished. Eight years after the fall of Belos, the Owl House disappeared, its inhabitants nowhere to be found, save two. Ten years since she first set foot in the Demon Realm, Luz Noceda has settled in the city of Caja Torácica and married her longtime girlfriend, Amity Blight. They moved into the apartment above Viney's veterinary clinic together and began a new chapter in their lives founding Noceda Bounty Hunting and General Services. They don't know what became of their surrogate family, but they won't give up their search for the Owl House. Luz and Amity Noceda had thought their adventuring days were behind them, but with new career opportunities, encounters with beings from another Titan, corporate espionage, a looming confrontation with the notorious Owl Lady, and the prospect of beginning a family, they might be in for their wildest years yet.

So Dana used to just refer to the golden guard as "the spy" before his official title and later name was revealed, so I thought I'd take a spin on that and make him go to Hexside as a spy, but instead of learning information about his targets, he learns more about himself. This takes place only a couple days after episode six. Also I wanted the first chapter published before midnight so that whatever happens in episode seven doesn't ruin what I write, but in case it does just not I probably don't consider anything past episode six as canon in this story. He eventually gives up and goes after someone else, but finds himself falling for a certain blonde guard he used to know. The bard ends up moving in with his mentor and they act like siblings towards each other.
