What happens when the fiercest pirate in all the realms comes face to face with a tiny kitten?

This one-shot takes place between "Kansas" and "Snow Drifts", after the last hospital scene. I wrote this to reveal Emma's hidden character, and as a little 'antidote' for Killian after watching that heartbreaker, "Kansas".

When Emma was sixteen years old, she was kidnapped by Neal Cassidy. After years of torture, she finally manages to escape. After she escapes she tries to put her life back together. And then she meets the handsome and charming Officer Killian Jones. As Emma tries to let down her walls, she begins to fall for Killian. As she tries to move on with her life, she can't help but fear that Neal is still lurking in the shadows.

Killian Jones and Emma Swan continuously meet up in strange places. Little do they know that they were destined to be together, and that they were neighbours.

This story leaves off after Hook kisses Emma, trying to regain her memories. In addition, Hook never received a potion for Emma's memories. After a year of living in peace, Emma Swan and her son, Henry, find themselves welcoming a pirate into the family. However, will this pirate be able to bring Emma's walls down? Not to mention, will he be able to regain Emma's memories without the help of magic?
