Moonrise Mermaids follows the life of Sadie O'Neill, daughter of an ER nurse and younger sister to a pro surfer. She's your average teenage girl living on the Gold Coast... until she became a mermaid, that is. Keeping this secret would be a real pain in the tail if she wasn't sharing it with her three friends: Cleo Sertori, Emma Gilbert, and Rikki Chadwick. Join Sadie as she tries to navigate life with this scaly secret and see if she manages to sink or swim. This is essentially H2O Just Add Water rewritten with the addition of my original character, Sadie O'Neill. This work will contain some deviation from the original plot as I took inspiration from multiple sources, including Mako Mermaids and the classic YouTube mermaid series we all knew and loved growing up. This story was heavily inspired by Waterworks by Fireleaves, and I received their permission to write and post this. New chapters every Wednesday at 12:00pm EST!

They pick up Emma Gilbert before deciding to take an amazing boat ride. However they run out of fuel and get stranded on Mako Island, none of them realize that after that day their lives would be forever changed.

As their friend groups starts to fall apart, they find themselves changing, developing new powers and tail colors. And on top of that, some of their families are getting closer and closer to discovering their secret. Will the group completely fall apart, or will the changes make them stronger?

Cleo has a cousin that lives in America. They haven't seen each other in soooooo long. Since they were very little and Percy's mum married that horrid man Gabe.
