Helena Callahan series (Emmiie) fan fiction: As a child, Chloe Faulkner had shifted the balance in the supernatural world in favour of the vampires. As if it wasn't enough that she had killed her father, her conscious also has to deal with the increasing number of deaths that is caused by the resulting vampiric plague. As Chloe gets older, her powers increase, and she realizes that again she can make a difference. There is a way to fix the mess that she has created. There is a way to stop the blood shed. The queen of the damned is bored, rich and insane. After civilisation makes first contact with a new species of alien that closely resembles humans, and are equally digestible, she decides to broaden her hunting territory and invade the lovely peaceful planet of Roke. Only she hadn't counted on there being a vampire-equivalent at Roke, with a pissed-off king that will hunt her down and kill her for this blatant provocation. War of the fangs, with laser beams, and a bit of romance.

Chloe accomplished what she came here to do. She took away the vampires' blood thirst. With dire consequences. The demon dimension is out of balance, every faction is struggling for power and Noah Turner needs to set things straight. He needs to assert his dominance and take back the throne. And his mission starts with Chloe. A king hunting down his Queen Bee. Who will win? Who will lose? Unfortunately, in war there are no winners. This is the prequel to Fangs in Space and the sequel to the short story that I wrote for Emmiie's contest (Just One Fix). Read the short story first to make sense of the storyline.

It causing more trouble, more trouble for Helena by being Darien Valentine's love interest and that, however, puts Helena's life at risk. Nothing is ever easy for a Vampire. Would they catch the culprit in time or was Helena doomed from the very start to die? It is a race around the clock but who will win victorious?
