Emmrich Stories

Professor Emmrich Volkarin begins his first year teaching at Golden Heights Academy, confident that he can handle the rowdy students. He quickly learns, however, that teaching is about more than lesson plans and studious coursework. He becomes particularly concerned with three students-Keira, Oscar, and Lua-each of whom faces their own hidden struggles. This story takes place several years before Emmrich joins Rook's team to fight the gods, roughly twelve years prior.

Mild spoilers for midgame After what the team encountered at Hezzenkoss' mansion Emmrich retires to his rooms for tea and reading. Instead he has a panic attack and surrenders to "death" until their leader, Rook, finds him. He also gets to ask her some burning questions about how she handles being a Grey Warden (a convo I thought should have been in the game) Just wholesome fluff about friendship! it could easily be head cannoned to be part of early romance.
