When Naomi Bond finds herself in an unfamiliar place, she has to try her hardest to stick to her plan and follow through-find Patrick Stumph and somehow convince him to let her join his band. What she doesn't know is that things aren't going to be easy for her. Naomi has to deal with all sorts of problems, from fitting in at school, battling mean girls, life away from home, to even staying alive and off the streets. Is she growing up, or just going down? This book has been years in the making. It contains a cluster of poems, not inane sequence or storytelling form but rather all falling under a similar theme. Some of poems are a bit personal to me but most of them are character based.I tend to imagine my self as different characters, what would it feel like to be in that characters shoe and write from that perspective. I get inspiration to write these character based poems from movies, people in the street, books etc.
